About New England Culinary Institute
| The New England Culinary Institute (NECI) was founded in 1980 as a unique institution based on the "learn-by-doing" model employed in medical schools. Today, NECI's roots in practical education are still evident, from our foodservice facilities in Vermont where students receive hands-on training, to the extensive industry experience of the instructors in our online program. Highly regarded around the world, in 2004 NECI was named Best Cooking School by the International Association of Culinary Professionals. The school has been influential in developing the Vermont culinary landscape, and many of our alumni have achieved national and international success in the food and hospitality industry. |
